


Claire Boulanger, Chair
Organization Administrator
An experienced executive in commercial real estate development, acquisitions, projects and building management, retail and catering and financial services, Ms. Boulanger has worked in management positions for over thirty years. A graduate of Concordia University in business administration and the CGA program at McGill University, Ms. Boulanger has also held several positions in finance and accounting during her career. In 2009, she obtained the Certified Company Administrator (ASC) diploma from the College of Administrators at Laval University. In 2017, Claire joined the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Québec and assumed the Chair of the Board in 2021.


Josée Plourde, Vice-Chair
CIBC Mortgage Advisor
A versatile manager with more than 30 years of experience in companies linked directly or indirectly to the fields of construction and real estate. Client-oriented and empathetic to the people she meets in business, Ms. Plourde makes decisions based on fundamental values including respect, integrity and professional ethics. A graduate of HEC Montreal with a Bachelors in business administration, Ms. Plourde was the recipient of the 2018 mentoring award from CREW M and member of the Board of Directors of Ahuntsic en fugue since 2018. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Quebec since 2019 where she has held the role of Vice-Chair since spring 2021. Fully committed, Ms. Plourde sits on the Triennial Strategic Planning Committee at the provincial level as well as on the national committee, which aims to define the “Framing the Future” project.


Paul David, Treasurer
Organization Administrator
A graduate of McGill University in administration and Chartered Professional Accountant since 1985, Mr. David has held several strategic roles in business over the years; overseeing activities related to taxation as well as treasury. He has extensive experience in real estate financing, cumulating nearly 20 years as Treasurer at Ciment St. Laurent and Ivanhoé Cambridge. Mr. David continues to lend his expertise in the field of finance by acting as a lecturer in financial literacy for the Quebec CPA order and as a member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Quebec, serving as Treasurer since 2020.


Marie-France Soucy, Secretary
Director, Legal Affairs & Associate Secretary, Ivanohé Cambridge
Ms. Soucy joined the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Québec in the fall of 2020. A lawyer by profession, she practiced for 9 years in law firms in civil and commercial litigation, before joining Ivanhoe Cambridge in 2000 as Director of Legal Affairs and Assistant Secretary responsible for corporate affaires. Ms. Soucy combines extensive expertise in governance and real estate.
Robert Murray
Senior Principal, Sector Lead, Environmental Services Manufacturing (Canada)
Mr. Murray has managed hundreds of environmental projects and has led teams in Quebec, Ontario and the United States for over 20 years. He has conducted thousands of environmental assessments and studies related to site contamination, permits, air quality and environmental impact assessments. Mr. Murray has been a member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Québec since 2013.


Stephen Rotman
Principal Architect, Partner, Figurr
Mr. Rotman is co-founder of Rubin & Rotman Architects. For thirty years, he worked in architectural firms in France, Great Britain, Canada and the United States. He has participated in various complex institutional projects. Mr. Rotman has served on the Boards of Directors of several local organizations, including Habitat for Humanity Québec since 2013. Mr. Rotman graduated from Washington University with a Masters of Architecture degree .


Jacqueline Kost
Consultant & Advisor- Retail Real Estate Specialist
Ms. Kost has been involved in all facets of commercial real estate, including more than 10 years internationally. From Mall Manager to Business Development Manager at Mont-Tremblant to Director of Real Estate at Air Canada. She is currently working on the creation of a province-wide non-profit organization whose objective is to provide innovative business solutions to the problems of the Quebec retail sector (cqic.ca). Ms. Kost has been involved with Habitat for Humanity Québec as a member of the Board of Directors since May 2015.


Thierry Lopez
Marketing & Corporate Affairs Manager, Quebec
After starting his career internationally, Mr. Lopez joined Best Buy Canada and held various operational roles before taking charge of marketing for Quebec where he ensured the launch and growth of the company's various brands in French-speaking markets. His responsibilities include brand marketing, advertising, communications and community and government relations, as well as an active involvement on the boards of several professional or non-profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity Québec since June 2020.


Marion Godron
Director, Transformation & HR Programs, Sun Life Canada
Ms. Godron graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and a Master's degree in Human Systems Intervention from Concordia University. She has over 20 years of experience as a human resources professional. Her background has allowed her to develop a varied expertise in the field including talent management, talent attraction and retention, compensation programs, organizational development, change management, mobilization and organization of work. She joined the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Québec in 2021 and sits on the Human Resources Committee.


Ghassan Zakhour
Director - Quality, Process, and Health & Safety, Montoni Group
Mr. Zakhour, who holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, began his career internationally, in companies such as Turner Construction Co. and Bechtel Corp. His project experience ranges from small commercial bank buildings to modularized petrochemical refineries. Having recently completed a Master of Project Management and obtained his Project Management Professional certification, Mr. Zakhour joined the Montoni Group, a real estate development and construction company. He is responsible for the company's safety and quality programs as well as commercial and office leasing. Mr. Zakhour joined the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity Québec in October 2021.


Élisabeth Deschênes
Présidente directrice générale, ZA Cabinet d’architecture de marques et communication
Since the founding of her organization more than 30 years ago, she has been working along side brands and taking a fresh look at current and emerging markets. ZA's raison d'être is to create brands that are sustainable, influential, connected to their markets and useful to society. Elisabeth also created la Société des leaders de marques in 2013, whose main mission is to contribute to the sustainable prosperity of society through brands and health leaders. Élisabeth is involved in the community and is President of the Board of Directors of Le Chaînon, and a member of the Club des Ambassadrices du CECI, a group of influential Quebec women, whose goal is to strengthen female entrepreneurship in order to fight poverty and exclusion in the world. In the fall of 2021, she created the Alliance sur la féminisation du leadership, which today has over 170 business, culture, sport, education and health leaders as members.


Éric Deslauriers
Promotional Articles Advisor, Coopérative de l’Université de Sherbrooke
M. Deslauriers holds a Master's degree in administration, public management, local and international development from the University of Sherbrooke. Éric has worked in various types of companies related to retail and property management. Actively involved in his community since 2012, he has held the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Les habitations Équerre, Sherbrooke, a housing NPO. Committing to Habitat for Humanity represents for Eric an involvement directly linked to his values but also to his volunteer and professional experience. For him, everyone should have the right to a decent and safe home.


Éric Côté
President and Chief Executive Officer of La Corporation des entrepreneurs généraux du Québec
M. Coté is an experienced manager regarding strategic issues management and recognized for his expertise in public affairs, media relations, crisis management, reputation management, strategic issues management and relations with private or government stakeholders. He has a solid multidisciplinary experience supported by a university education in political science (public administration). His professional and political career in various environments has allowed him to develop an in-depth knowledge of the public administration sector at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels. Éric has volunteered for many years on boards of directors of various community and economic development organizations.
